Thank you Sheltie Rescue for taking me into rescue.  I know how much my "mom" struggled with the decision to let me go.  It was not by choice but she had many life changes and knew rescue would take good care of me and find me the perfect home.  I love my foster home and I think they like me.  I like kids and dogs and there are several in my foster home.  My foster mom is pretty nice too.  I was seven years old in October.  I am overweight but with my new meds for low thyroid I will slim down.  I also have allergies but with my shots, which I get about every 10 days, and my special diet along with special shampoo I am so much better.  My new vet says I will feel so much better being on thyroid meds.  Both my thyroid meds and allergy meds are not real expensive.  I hope someone will still consider adopting me even with these issues.  I am very gentle and love to be with my foster family.  They are taking me on short walks.  I weigh 48 pounds and hope to get down to 35-38 pounds.  I am 17 inches tall and up to date on all my vet care.  I do not get on furniture, I do not run away so could go without a fence.  I am smart and very patient.  I like being brushed.  Consider meeting me.  I am such a lady and never bother anything in the house even when left alone.
