When I was found as a stray in Muncie, I was a sick boy.  I spent many months with my foster family recovering.  I did love it there and was adopted for a short time but returned to my foster family.  Michele and Jerry knew it was meant to be that I became theirs forever.  I was so happy to be back with them and their Shelties.  Their beloved Claude was gone and I know I will never replace him but I did bring a smile back to their faces.  My human sister, Amanda, was happy that I was going to stay forever this time.   I have two Shelties that keep me company.  Hugs to everyone for making me happy!!!

I remember the day my family took me to meet the Sheltie Rescue lady.  I know they loved me but much was going on in their life and could not keep me.  I missed them but adjusted quickly to life in foster care.  I loved all the action in my foster home with 6 other Shelties.  Wow, I have a lot of energy for an 8 year old so I loved it.  When Nancy, John and Mandy lost their other rescued Sheltie, Rocky, they called rescue.  I was not even on the website yet and they wanted to meet me.  I must have been just what they were looking for as before I knew it, I was on my way to Chicago area.  Life is great!  I love my new family and I have a collie to play with.  I wasn't sure about the cat for a while but we have agreed to get along.   I am loving, active but yet gentle and that is what my new family wanted.   I think they were a little surprised at how playful and 8 year old can be!!!  I will keep them young.

When my owner could not longer keep me, a lady called Sheltie Rescue.  Before I knew it I was in foster care.  I then took a long car ride to Purdue Vet School Open House and met all the rescue volunteers.  While there my new mom happened to stop and say hello.  Before she left she was in love with me.   After making sure I had all my vet care in order and mom doing all the required paperwork, I was ready to be adopted.   I am a beautiful girl inside and out.  My mom has shared everything with me including her bed.  I get to celebrate my 5th birthday with her.  I am one happy Sheltie girl.  Sheltie Rescue made a perfect match.  My mom says I am her world and I get to go everywhere with her.  Thanks Sheltie Rescue!
