It is true! I have
a new mom and my very own home. I will be on
"only child". Andi, that is my new mom, had
been wanting a Sheltie. When she contacted
Sheltie Rescue and read about me, she thought I
would be perfect. You see my foster mom is a
trainer and has taught me well. I know to ring
a bell when I want to go outside. Andi loved
that I have had lots of training but she must
remember I might forget sometimes as I am still
a puppy. I will be celebrating my first
birthday in a few weeks. What could be better
than a new home and a new mom for my birthday.
I have a small problem with my leg but Andi
didn't mind and it doesn't slow me down. Thanks
to Jena my foster mom, I had a second chance at
a good life and thanks Sheltie Rescue for
finding me a new mom..... I sure feel special. |

I am small package
and a bundle of energy. I have been adopted by
Frank and Kim. They had a Sheltie boy named
Scout so now I have big brother. You see I
won't be 2 until the summer of 2008. We run and
play all the time. I think we wear mom and dad
out. They said I was very easy to fall in love
with!! What could be better for a rescued
Sheltie? I was always sure of some men but do
love my new dad. Thanks Sheltie Rescue for
finding me the perfect home.....Love always,

When my family lost
their home due to flooding, I came to Sheltie
Rescue. My foster mom and dad took great
care of me. When Sheri and her
family were looking for a Sheltie to adopt, they
met me and it didn't take them long to make me
theirs forever. Wow, it has been great.
I have kids home with me all the time as they
are home schooled. They say I am a
blessing since their Sheltie had died. My new family is sooooo in
love with me. I could not ask for more. |

My life has changed
beyond belief since coming to Sheltie Rescue.
Life was not good before. When Phaedra and
Michael came to PetsMart to meet me it was love
at first sight. My new dad was buying a pink
collar and leash within 10 minutes of meeting
me. I am their new daughter. I now share my
home with a border collie and a human brother,
Jason. I love my new home and family. I will
not want for food anymore. My mom says thanks
Sheltie Rescue of my sweet little girl. Being
so young I will have many many years full of
love with Phaedra, Michael and Jason. |

My foster mom called
me "adorable". Well, I bet if you ask my new
mom Gwen she would say the same thing. She
thought she wanted a small female. That is
funny because I am big male Sheltie. She felt
a connection with me almost immediately. Boy am
I glad she did. I have play time with her
friend's dog and I love my new life. I get to
travel north to visit family. You see the
family loves Shelties too! I have the perfect
new family. I will have a great life with my
new mom....
