My name is Ginger and I
was so sad when I came to Sheltie Rescue. You see I
was from a puppy mill. I am a beautiful girl so I
know my puppies were beautiful too. I spent many
months with my foster mom learning to trust humans.
When Pam and Kenny (they are my new parents) saw my
pictures and read about me, they wanted to meet
me. After meeting me they decided they wanted to
adopt me. I love my new home, especially my sheltie
brother Tinker and the two cats. My new mom and dad
are so kind and are teaching me many things. I get
to sleep on their bed. I am still shy but with all
the praise, hugs and kisses I am wagging my tail,
barking and holding my head up. They love me so
much and tell me all the time. Thanks to my foster
mom and everyone at Sheltie Rescue, I have my own
family and know I will be loved forever. |

This adorable little
Sheltie girl is now enjoying her new home with lots
of spoiling!! Kelly and her family had waited for
the right Sheltie. Sunshine had been taken by
authorities due to lack of care. She was so flea
infested she had chewed most of her fur off. She is
now healthy and her coat is growing back nicely.
When Kelly and her family saw her for the first
time, they said "We love her already". Sunshine is
an only pet and will get all the care and love she
deserves. Sunshine is the talk of her new
neighborhood and the kids are so proud of their new
family member. |

I have a new mom and dad
for Christmas. Isn't that the best Christmas
present ever? I think so. I am Fancy "Pants" as my
foster mom called me. I was a little shy at first
in my foster home but she was patient just as my new
parents are. When Beth and Kevin saw my picture,
they came to meet me the next day. I must have been
a good girl as they wanted to adopt me. I had to
get my teeth cleaned before I could leave Sheltie
Rescue. Beth and Kevin came to adopt me the next
day. They had gone on a Sheltie shopping spree
before they picked me up. I am sharing my new home
with 2 cats. I think this might take a little time
for the 3 of us to become buddies. My new dad is
taking me on lots of walks. I now have someone to
love me forever. |

I think I must be a
special senior lady. My new mom and dad flew to
Lafayette to adopt me and take me to my new home in
AL. You see my new dad is a pilot. I will be a
southern lady now. I got to fly on a private
plane. I loved my foster mom but my new mom and dad
are the greatest. I also have a brother named
Saks. I had been with my original owner since I was
a pup but when she died, I found Sheltie Rescue. I
love my new life in AL and thank thanks Sheltie
Rescue for finding me the best home ever. No more
cold weather for me!!! |

Pinch me and keep
telling me it is so that Janette is now my real
mom. I have been her foster dog for over a year.
What better Christmas present could any Sheltie ask
for. Some kind person sent a donation to cover my
adoption fee so I could be Janette's before
Christmas. I am 10 years old and love my "mom". My
owners did not want me and I guess no one else did
as I have been in foster care for so long. All that
changed on December 15. I am now home forever. I
can now share Janette's popcorn forever. Thanks
Sheltie Rescue for finding Janette for me.
