Well, I just was beginning to think I was not ever going to be adopted, when someone called and asked specifically for me. Just me! I was on my very best behavior when they came for a visit, and they decided they really liked me.  They are not upset by my skin problems at all.  You see my new mom is a geriatric nurse and is used to those kind of problems. I have three young ladies to play with and  that little bitty baby in the picture to watch over. Life is wonderful now!

Tanner (on the right) had been waiting a long time for a little sister.  Sadie fit that bill.  While Sadie was not playful at first, due to living with two big dogs that scared her,  Tanner was patient and now she and Tanner play tug of war.  Her mom says she now has two cuties that follow her everywhere.  Good luck, Sadie.  You have found a great forever home.

Pinch me as I can't believe after being fostered by Allison, Travis and the kids, I get to stay forever.  What a good thing for me at 9 years old.  I love it here and they think I am handsome even though my nose is scarred.  My other family had no time for me and I spent most of my time outside and was so lonely.  Not anymore, I have all the comforts of a beautiful home and a family that loves me.  Wow, do I feel special now.  Thanks Sheltie Rescue!

Crystal #146

For a 10.4 pound pint sized ball of energy, the Humane Society was no place for Crystal.  Sheltie Rescue picked her up and knew a family that would be perfect.  Judie and David had waited months for the right Sheltie.  Crystal was everything they wanted in a Sheltie.  Now Crystal will have a David to play with everyday.   Crystal will be spoiled and treated like the special little girl she is.

Gordon #148

When Gordon's owner could no longer keep him, she called Sheltie Rescue.  It was not an easy decision but with Gordon's wonderful personality, rescue knew he would not be around long.  When Artie and Barb met him, they felt an immediate love and connection.  Their beloved Candy had died and they missed the company of a Sheltie.  Gordon was the lucky one to fill the void.  They are "over the top" in love with him and he fits like an old glove.  No more crates for Gordon and being only 6 he will have many happy years with his new family.
