Tanner
Wednesday, May 4, 2005

Sheltie Rescue came
to the rescue of Tanner as his owners were going
to put him down. He is such a loveable 10 year
old boy. When he arrived at a rescue event,
John and Rhonda met him and fell in love. They
could hardly wait to make him part of their
family. His new mom thinks he is as smart as he
is beautiful. He is enjoying daily walks and
rides in the car with John and Rhonda. They
feel lucky to have found Tanner and think he is
the best dog ever. Rhonda has found a best
friend in Tanner. Thank you John and Rhonda for
opening your hearts and home to this special
sheltie boy.

Cassy
Thursday, May 19, 2005

My family had been
waiting for a senior girl for a long time.
Since I was perfect, they decided to adopt me.
I am with my big bro Matt here and we get along
great. I like to watch him shoot baskets. I am
walked every day in a very nice neighborhood, if
I do say so myself. Don't pinch me, I might
wake up.

Murphy
Saturday, May 14, 2005

When 9 year
old Murphy's owner decided to move and could not
take him, she called Sheltie Rescue. He was shy
at first but his foster mom thought he was just
about perfect. When June lost her sheltie she
wanted another Sheltie companion to love. She
met Murphy and wanted to take him home. He is
slow warming up to his new surroundings but
loves to be petted and spends his evening near
June's side. We all wish this sweet natured
sheltie much happiness.

Missy
Monday, May 16, 2005

Eight year old
Missy was taken to the Humane Society by her
owner. Sheltie Rescue was then contacted.
We know she has had at least two previous
owners. Her foster mom found her to be very
sweet and easy going. When Barb decided to
adopt, she met Missy and felt she would be a
good fit with her 2 shelties, 18 horses and
8 cats. What better place to spend her life
than on 17 acres with sheltie lovers and
sleeping in their bedroom. She loves Barb
and is slowly making up to Max.

Sunday / Teddy
Bear
Monday, May
23, 2005

My name was Sunday
as I was found as a stray on a Sunday. After Mary
Jane adopted me she thought I was sweet and cuddly
like a teddy bear as I only weigh 14 pounds so I am
now called "Teddy Bear". I love my new home
and share my mom with several dogs. We get to
go on many walks, visit the library where I meet
kids and adults. I have been to obedience and
am a very quick learner. That was so much fun.
Thanks Sheltie Rescue for finding me the best mom in
the world!!
