Nugget

Boy, am I excited!!
Beth, my new mom, came to visit me at my foster
home. She immediately fell in love with me.
You see she loves BIG shelties and I am a big 52
pound boy. Here's what she wrote: Ours is a
four-sheltie home. As much as our hearts ache
for Little Rex, I still reach for four bowls
every morning for breakfast. Luckily, Nugget
agreed to come live with us and be a brother to
Desmond, Molly Jones and Carmel. He is probably
going to be known as "Quinn", but we are pretty
sure he won't care what we call him as long as
he gets his share of Greenies, and Meaty Bones,
not to mention, tummy rubs and chances to "do
ball". He is lucky Sheltie Rescue cares about
him enough to give him a new home, and we are
lucky Sheltie Rescue thinks enough of us to let
us adopt this gorgeous Sheltie-boy. We are four
again, and - if not complete - at least on the
way.P.S. I am the big
boy on the right

Sydney
Saturday, March 12, 2005
Sydney came into rescue
with his sister, Ayla. They were 9 years old and
well adjusted shelties. Their previous owner was
unable to give them the time they deserved. His
foster mom writes: Sydney is a very sweet,
practically perfect in every way, older Sheltie who
has found his forever home. His foster family
misses him a lot but they know he'll have a very
happy life. Sydney was following his new mom around
his new home within the first 20 minutes of meeting
her and who could forget playing ball!! He also had
fun showing his new dad how much he loves to play
ball. Congratulations Sydney!!! We all miss you.

Ayla
Tuesday February 22,
2005

Hi! I am Ayla, the
cute big girl on the right. Here I am with my
new forever family. I have a Mom and Dad (Nan
and Paul) and two big sisters (Amanda and
Allison), a special little sheltie sister
(Shelby) and our brother (Quincey) who lives
with my new Grandparents and visits us
frequently. I also have a new Aunt that likes
to babysit us and even has us come for
sleepovers!
I am having a great
time and adjusting well in my new home. I
recently got the courage to climb up the stairs
and just the other day jumped up on to my
parents' bed.
I get so much
attention from everyone but I am especially a
mama's girl. I spend all of my day playing with
Shelby, Quincey, Amanda and Allison. My family
is going to start teaching me and Shelby sign
language so that when we are older and can't
hear as well, they will still be able to tell us
what good girls we are. We are all very happy
and blessed.

Taz
Saturday, April 2, 2005

Taz is a sweet, 16
pound, nearly two year old sheltie boy. His
previous owners feared for his safety and they
called Sheltie Rescue. It was sad for them but
they knew he would be safe. Dave and Debbie
have been waiting for a small female sheltie to
share their home. When they met Taz they
decided he should go home with them. Maybe
someday they will adopt a sister for Taz. Taz
loves being the main attraction and that he will
be with Dave and Debbie. His foster family
misses this little lovable guy.

to go everywhere. He now shares his new home
with a"Big" sister, Tiara. Joe and Kathy
adopted her 2 months before Gordy. His new

sent Sheltie Rescue a big "thank you" for Gordy.
He even likes the cat in his new home. Gordy
